Second phase of the market test of the gas interconnector Bulgaria-Greece begins

ICGB, which is the project company for the gas interconnector between Bulgaria and Greece has launched on August 8 the second phase of gathering offers as part of the market test of the interconnector. That was made clear from the release on the website of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), which is a co-shareholder in the project company along with the Greek IGI Poseidon SA.

The first phase of the market test – expressions of interest was closed on April 8. Nine non-binding offers for capacity were gathered. On the BEH’s website are published the rules for the submission of offers, which have been approved by the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (CEWR) and the Greek regulator RAE by end of July. The participants in the first phase and gas operators will be directly notified and will be given the necessary documents for participation in the second phase of the submission.
