Levon Hampartzoumian: Businesses are moving from China to Eastern Europe

At the moment, for various reasons, there is a disappointment from China. It can be expected that companies, which have invested there to relocate to Eastern Europe. Here is a better place to do business because of low labor costs, low taxes and others. This was said by the banker Levon Hampartzoumian in an interview, published by Kmeta.bg.

According to him, the state has the obligation to create conditions for easy opening and development of companies. The long-term goal should be to provide opportunities for vocational training.

Levon pinted out that investors, who will eventually come, have no need of astronomers, cultural activists and linguists. “They need people with technical skills that are involved in production,” he said.

The banker explained that economic development of the country is where business was set up to act as a magnet for foreign investors business. “In Plovdiv we observe industrial boom because several key big players were based there,” he added.

For Northwestern Bulgaria Hampartsumian expressed doubt that the state can cause economic growth or long-term sustainable employment. “It is important that the state ensures good communication – modern infrastructure and a fast Internet connection. Investors need guaranteed security, and not to be racketeered by local feudal lords. If a certain location has no educated people, the state can not find an investors, “said the banker.
