The owner of Terraland Group and Chairman of the Council on Economic and Diplomatic Relations, attended the Bulgarian-Chinese workshop, organized by the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.

Officials guests from Chinese side were experts from the Institute for European Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences – one of the largest academic organizations and research centers in China.

The Deputy Director of the Institute, Mr. Luo Jinghui was welcomed by Mrs. Tanya Mihaylova – Director of DI.

On behalf of the Diplomatic Institute Dr. Katrandjiev and Mr. Rakovski presented the challenges and prospects of bilateral political, economic, trade and cultural relations.

The Experts from the Chinese delegation acquainted the hosts with their point of view on relations between EU and China in the context of the form of cooperation between China and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe “16 +1” and the initiative “One belt, one road.”

Referring to today’s trade with Bulgaria in particular, a number of vulnerable, but still promising further development key points, were stated out.

As successful examples of Chinese investments in Bulgaria were mentioned the factory for assembling cars in Lovech and the farms of Rubin Stanevo Ltd., which is a part of Terraland Group.
